Artificial intelligence, a marathon for France and Europe

Where is AI headed, and more importantly, where do we want to take it? Two years after the dramatic emergence of ChatGPT, the initial excitement is now facing a reality check: generative artificial intelligence is already transforming our usage patterns and presenting unprecedented challenges to businesses and governments worldwide. For France and Europe, striving to find their place against the American juggernaut, the race for AI is both a sprint—technological barriers are falling one after another—and a long-distance race to conquer and maintain positions in a rapidly evolving market predicted to be immense.

To gain a clearer perspective, La Tribune is bringing together the best global actors and experts in artificial intelligence on November 15 in the Phocaean city for the 2nd edition of the Artificial Intelligence Marseille (AIM) summit. It will be a day dedicated to understanding the economic, political, cultural, and societal stakes of generative AI, aiming to enlighten citizens, businesses of all sizes, and decision-makers about the AI of today and tomorrow.
